Performers in the categories of actors, dancers, singers, bands, musicians and models vie for a monthly cash prize of $1,000 to the talent member with the most votes.

Full Description
We have a 2-year old hybrid website combining the reality TV properties of American Idol and The X Factor, with the social networking aspects of Facebook, and the job placement focus of Monster.com. Performers in the categories of actors, dancers, singers, bands, musicians and models vie for a monthly cash prize of $1,000 to the talent member with the most votes.
Concurrent to the monthly contest, we also market and promote our unsigned talent members to a data base of over 1,5000 agents, managers, talent scouts, producers, casting directors, choreographers, and booking agents, hoping to aid our undiscovered talent to find representation, gigs, tours, and of course, stardom!
At this time, we seek capital to expand our monthly contest to six simultaneous contests (one $1,000 cash prize award for each of our six performer categories), thereby expanding our audience and improving the odds for our talent members by allowing models to not have to compete against bands, etc.
We also seek to bring our advertising in-house, following the successful Facebook model, and thereby keeping 100% of the ad-revenue in-house (vs. our current use of the shared revenue of Google AdSense).
Lastly, aesthetic programming changes will need to be made to tie in with the enhanced six contests (i.e., six current leaders shown instead of the current top 3, etc.).

Please note that our target funding includes sustaining the website with the six monthly contests and a substantially increased monthly marketing budget for the next 24 months. Requested expansion capital can be much less if maintenance funding is decreased to support only 12 months.
